What’s in the Reading Room?
Our resources include several translations of the Bible, many Bible study aids including concordances, Bible dictionaries, commentaries, and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
We also have numerous publications, CD’s, and pamphlets to read or buy. These include The Christian Science Monitor Weekly, Bible Lessons, music and readings CD’s, children’s books, and more.
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures
Of all Bible study aids, this is the one in greatest demand. This companion book to the Bible was written by a woman who searched the Bible for answers about how Jesus was able to heal the sick and sinning, feed thousands, and raise the dead. After a near-fatal accident, her spiritual revelation and subsequent quick recovery led to a life of amazing healing work and to the publication of this book. It has 600 pages of spiritual wisdom, Biblical insight, practical guidance, and blunt calls for honest discipleship. The last 100 pages are letters from readers freed from illness and sin just by reading this book.
